You’ve probably heard the term “mind-body connection.” This is the idea that the relationship we have with our physical and mental health work synergistically. When we overcome challenges of the mind, we can overcome challenges in our body, and vice versa. Our muscles are built and created from the communications our nerves relay to them, and our mind receives the input from the movements we create with our body, creating new limits we set for ourselves as to what we know we can physically accomplish. At Shine Fitness Training, we take this into account when it comes to our training services; working on building better connections as to how our mind perceives our body and how we think about the way we look and the way we feel. When the mind is healthy, in-tune and in-balance, the physical body will mirror that state of being. When the body is able to move and is free to experience life in a physical way, it further promotes a state of wellness and balance within the mind.
